Road - The town of Uckfield is situated on the crossroads of the A22 (London to Eastbourne road) and the A26 (Newhaven to Maidstone road)
Rail – Trains run to London Bridge railway station on the “Oxted Line” via East Croydon.
Brief History

Evidence of there being a Stone Age Settlement in Uckfield has been found. It developed in the 13th century as a resting place for pilgrims on the Chichester, Lewes and Canterbury route.
