Discover the vanished rural crafts of Sussex. The South Downs Heritage Centre displays a wide range of fascinating exhibits such as the blacksmith and wheelwright. Vintage ploughs and other rural antiquities give an insight into days gone by. The Olive Tree Café overlooks the heritage garden, which displays herbs, vegetables and flowers grown by rural households from Roman to Victorian times. The vast garden centre and nurseries are renowned for unusual plants and gifts. FREE ADMISSION.
